Approach to Main Entrance: The front and back doors of the Sheriff Court building are both accessible with ramps and automatic doors.

Approach to Reception Area: The Procurator Fiscal's Office on the 1st floor, accessible only by stairs. There is no wheelchair access to this level.

 

If you require assistance please report to the Sheriff Clerk's Office on the ground floor and a member of staff from the Procurator Fiscal's Office will attend there.

Audible emergency alarms: continuous loud ring

Our staff have a responsibility to ensure that they accompany any visitors during an emergency evacuation to the muster point designated in local Fire Evacuation Plans. Visitors must not be left unattended and should be accompanied at all times during an emergency evacuation until the all clear is given for re-entry to the building. Where appropriate a suitable emergency evacuation plan will be in place to ensure safe evacuation of disabled persons during an emergency situation.
