Approach to Main Entrance: The main entrance is level, however, some wheelchair users may require assistance as the main door opens outwards. The Procurator Fiscal's office is situated on the first floor and a lift is situated within the main foyer.
Door Width: the entrance door opens to 1.2 metre
- A door entry call system is in place. The call button is situated to the right of main door. A member of our staff will release the door to allow you access into the main foyer.

Approach to Reception Area: Our reception is on the first floor. There is a lift. Some assistance may be required to manage the single door after exiting the lift.
Door Width: the entrance width for the door leading to the Reception Area is 77cm.
Low level counter
Low level bell: There is a low level bell to the right of the public counter.
There is seating available in our reception area. Please ask if you need extra assistance.

Approach to Interview / Conference Rooms: Interview rooms are situated next to the Reception Area which is accessed via a secure entry door.
Door Width: the access doors to the interview rooms are 77cm wide.

Audible emergency alarms: Loud Bell
Our staff have a responsibility to ensure that they accompany any visitors during an emergency evacuation to the muster point designated in local Fire Evacuation Plans. Visitors must not be left unattended and should be accompanied at all times during an emergency evacuation until the all clear is given for re-entry to the building. Where appropriate a suitable emergency evacuation plan will be in place to ensure safe evacuation of disabled persons during an emergency situation.
