Thank you for your email dated 12 March 2013 in which you requested information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 to the following questions:

1. How many disabled staff whether is physical or mental impairment in Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service from 2007 to 2013?

2. How many disabled candidates have been considered and interviewed for traineeship from 2007 to 2013?

3. How many candidates who have/had offered for traineeship were/are from University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2013?

4. How many autistic staff in Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service from 2007 to 2013?

5. How many total of the staff in Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service

*Successful trainees are only required to provide documentation confirming that they have obtained the Diploma in Legal Practice in preparation for commencing their Traineeship. As such we do not hold full information about where candidates have obtained their Law Degree. The figures above show applicants who were offered traineeships who may have attended the University of Edinburgh for either their Law Degree or Diploma in Legal Practice.

4. How many autistic staff in Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service from 2007 to 2013?

    No employees have declared autism specifically as a disability between 2007 and 2013.

5. How many total of the staff in Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service

    As at end of March 2013 the number of staff in COPFS was the equivalent of 1,580.94 Full Time staff.
