Thank you for your request dated 9 February 2012 under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) in which you request details of all successful prosecutions against cyclists in Scotland, going back five years (or the last five years for which information is available). You also requested that this includes offences such as cycling on the pavement, failure to observe traffic lights and pedestrian crossings, cycling without appropriate lighting, cycling while under the influence of drink or drugs and any other offences not previously mentioned.

Thank you for your request dated 20 January 2012 under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). You requested the number of prosecutions under each section, subsection or paragraph of Part VIII of the Rent (Scotland) Act 1984 which creates an offence broken down for each Sheriffdom, and the total for all Sheriffdoms, and also separately for the Edinburgh Sheriff Court District for each year since the Act came into force and as a total for all years. In addition you requested a breakdown showing the verdicts reached in those prosecutions.

Thank you for your request dated 16 January 2012 under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) in which you requested details about all cases of rape and sexual assault that have been dropped by the Crown Office in the last three years.
