COPFS is Scotland’s prosecution service which plays a pivotal part in the justice system, working with others to make Scotland safe from crime, disorder and danger. Our business operates in a stimulating and fast changing environment which the Finance Division supports by providing timely communication of financial matters.
This is an exciting opportunity for a part qualified accountant to develop their career working within a public sector environment. You will be a key member of our Finance Division with a principal focus to ensure that financial records are maintained and reported accurately.
Within the COPFS Finance Division, we pride ourselves on having supportive working relationships and clear communication that will enhance the development experience of new colleagues. The Finance Division is based in our Edinburgh office. There may be opportunities to work from home, depending on business needs and on agreement with your Line Manager.
