We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will work as part of team, providing subject matter expertise in protecting COPFS’ networks and sensitive information, based in our Crown Office (Edinburgh).
You should possess strong technical skills and have good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. You will work collaboratively across teams within our Information Services Division to build, develop and configure systems and tooling and processes to maintain and improve the overall security posture.
This is a new role which will give you the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft 365 packages, you will have access to the National Cybersecurity Centre resources allowing you to utilise current and trending security standards and controls to support the inception of an ambitious programme of projects.
You can expect to join a knowledgeable, passionate team, working mostly from home but who are regularly in communication with each other. Your initial training period will be spent with your Line Manager and members of the team whilst you learn the role. You will also have the chance to receive training directly from Microsoft and other external providers.
This is an exciting role which will allow you to develop your career within the Civil Service and equip you with the skills and experience within the Cybersecurity field which is now essential to all organisations.
