Infrastructure Support Engineer [ISE0623]

About the Role:

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Infrastructure team, working to monitor and support all infrastructure assets and configuration items deployed across COPFS, ensuring services are high performing, efficient and effective.

If you are self-motivated and enjoy taking ownership of your work and delivering new technologies, this could be a great opportunity for you.  You should have excellent communication skills and be keen to learn new things, working collaboratively with your team towards a shared goal.  The Infrastructure team provides leadership and plays a vital role in optimising the infrastructure services relied upon by COPFS to deliver justice in Scotland.

This role provides the opportunity to work on emerging technologies and maximising their potential to support the wider business needs, supporting COPFS in a drive for continuous improvement whilst delivering real business transformation.

You can expect to join a knowledgeable, passionate team, working mostly from home but who are regularly in communication with each other. Your initial training period will be spent in the Legal House office, where you will work with other colleagues to learn more about the team and your role, before moving onto project work. You will also have the opportunity to receive training directly from Microsoft and earn formal Microsoft Qualifications.

This is an exciting role which will allow you to develop your career within the Civil Service, and continuously focus on building skills and experience to aid your personal development within the IT infrastructure field.
