Muhammad Sheikhi targeted both women within hours of each other on 30 November 2025 in the Kerse Lane area of the town.
The 23-year-old approached them without warning, followed them, and carried out sexual assaults.
The prosecution showed that Sheikhi’s actions formed a clear pattern of behaviour targeting women who were alone and in vulnerable circumstances.
He persistently placed his phone in front of the women and asked for their contact details.
When they tried to ignore him or move away, he blocked their path or physically stopped them from leaving before sexually assaulting them.
Neither had met him before or knew who he was.
Following a trial at Stirling Sheriff Court, Sheikhi was found guilty of two charges on 29 May 2026.
He was sentenced to four years in custody at the same court on 10 August 2026.
His name has been added to the sex offenders register indefinitely with 10 year non-harassment orders also granted.
Procurator Fiscal Helen Nisbet said: “Muhammad Sheikhi targeted two young women who were simply trying to get home safely and subjected them to deeply distressing sexual assaults.
“These were deliberate acts against two victims who were alone and vulnerable.
“Their courage in coming forward has enabled him to be held accountable for his crimes.
“While this type of stranger offending is thankfully rare, we recognise the profound impact it has on victims and on communities.
“Scotland’s prosecutors will continue to work closely with police and our partners to ensure that anyone who seeks to harm women and girls is brought to justice.”
