Details

The Code of Practice outlines duties of disclosure of evidence in criminal proceedings. Prosecutors, the Police Service of Scotland, and other investigating agencies, must follow the code when investigating, reporting and prosecuting crime and during the investigation of sudden deaths.

This Code of Practice is issued under Part VI of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010.
