On 1st July 2015 the Lord Advocate published rules under section 4 of the Victim and Witnesses (Scotland) Act 2014. The rules related to a victim’s right to request a review of a decision of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) not to proceed with a case or not to continue a case.
This document provides details and statistics on all review applications made between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2020.
